In this HOQU Tech digest # 2 we are continuing to share information about the technical features of the HOQU platform.
As you know, HOQU is an ecosystem for affiliate marketing. The HOQU team is working hard on creating the SDK. Using the SDK and ecosystem elements of the HOQU platform (smart platform contract, protocols, tracker, etc.) makes it possible for users to create their own open platforms. Standardized data exchange protocols were developed for interaction with all third-party entities.
This note deals with the standard and the use of HOQU OFFER PROTOCOL (HOP).
The HOQU ecosystem uses blockchain technology and smart contracts to maximize the transparency of interaction of ecosystem participants.
However, it is worth considering that the blockchain is not designed to store large amounts of data. Therefore, in cases where we have a lot of information, some of the data is stored on HOQU servers. (It is worth noting that data on HOQU servers is replicated and duplicated, which almost completely eliminates any technical problems associated with HOQU servers).
Access to this data is provided by a link, which is stored in the blockchain.

Creating our webmaster (affiliate) application, we use this link to get information about an offer:
The HOQU network app save the data in the blockchain and on the platform’s servers. After this process is completed, the data is obtained from the blockchain and from the platform server using the HOP protocol, while storing it in some intermediate servers with which the application is running.
As a result, using the data stored in the blockchain, users can get information about all the offers contained in the system, and by using the API, they can organize their work with the preferred offers. (We will write more about this process in the following articles)
The data available by the link from the data-url field is represented in the json-format and corresponds to the protocol created by HOQU.
We have created protocols for a detailed description of any entities that we store in the blockchain network systems:
- Offers
- Webmasters
- Advertisers
- Advertising campaigns, etc.

HOQU OFFER PROTOCOL (HOP)
The HOQU OFFER PROTOCOL is the protocol that defines the structure of the description of the offer of the affiliate network.
Using the HOQU OFFER PROTOCOL (HOP), users can get detailed information about the offers (descriptions, tariffs, etc.) registered in the system.
Description of the protocol
The protocol defines the following json file structure:
Network — information about the affiliate network that provided the offer.
Country — information about the country in which the given network operates.
Tariffs — description of tariffs.
Traffic_types — allowed types of traffic
Status — the status of an offer.
Rules — rules for working with an offer.
Payer_address — the address from which HQX tokens will be written off for rewarding affiliations.
Name — the name of the offer.
Categories — the categories available.
Type — type of offer (i.e. CPA, CPL, CPC, etc.).
The HOQU team continues to develop and plans to release new versions of the protocol.
